The material thickness appears satisfactory. It's not the type of cheap, thin material you often encounter. The forearm coverage offers ample protection. However, I do find that the fingers are quite snug and don't offer much flexibility. Additionally, when I move my fingers, there's a sound reminiscent of crinkling gift wrapping paper, likely due to the aluminum foil layer. While they claim to fit most, I'm uncertain about that assertion.

These gloves are excellent for welding, but their usefulness extends beyond that for me. I take them camping and on day trips to the woods. They even come in handy with my portable fire pits, allowing me to safely cook hotdogs. After cooking, when the fire goes out but the metal remains hot, I use these gloves without any issues. They ensure 100% safety. And when I need to weld, I can still use them for their original purpose.

I purchased these gloves for my wife to use as oven mitts. They serve their purpose effectively for the oven, stovetop, and grill.

I acquired these gloves for ARC welding purposes, and they perform admirably. They exhibit good heat resistance and seem to be crafted from durable materials. As someone who typically wears size large gloves, these fit me well. I'm an occasional welder, not a full-time fabricator. If you're in a similar situation, these gloves are a fantastic value and will likely serve you for years.

To put them to the test, my husband used them with his versatile welding machine. These gloves covered his arms almost up to the elbows. Despite their ruggedness, they retained flexibility, allowing him to grip and hold with ease. The seams didn't cause any discomfort on his forearms. The gloves provided great protection, even after about 30 minutes of welding. There was no burning sensation or signs of discomfort. Overall, these gloves are extremely comfortable to wear, leading us to consider purchasing them again.

These welding gloves are built to handle heavy-duty tasks. Crafted from leather and lined with cotton, we opted for the 16¡± pair to tackle home projects, as well as grilling and camping needs.

One issue I've encountered with past welding gloves is inadequate forearm coverage. However, these gloves address that concern effectively. They're suitable not only for welding but also for handling deep-frozen sodastream metal CO2 cartridges. Despite their protective design, they're not excessively bulky, allowing for reasonable dexterity while manipulating tools.

Handling a hot grill or grill grate is absolutely no problem. After testing this out successfully, I even used the gloves for gardening tasks involving numerous thorns and spikes. These gloves outperform any 'thorn-resistant' gloves from the gardening section. They might feel a bit stiff, which is due to the thickness of the leather. Yet, I'd prefer that over burned fingers or thorns. Conclusion: These gloves perform well in any situation, and I highly recommend them.

Shipping took way longer than stated, but the product has been awesome. Cut great right out of the box and does everything it says it will do. My Dad couldn’t believe how quickly and easily it cut through various gauges of metal.

The gloves seem to be good quality and I like the longer sleeve for better protection so I would give them a 5 Star for the quality, comfort, and price range while they are on sale.

Got these gloves with the MiG 200 Mega Saver bundle. These gloves are made with good quality and a great price. They are comfortable and allow enough flexibility to still move your hand to pickup materials and tools. I’ve been welding for many years and normally don’t wear gloves while welding only for moving hot metal parts and to remove the nozzle from the MiG gun to replace tips, these gloves are comfortable enough for me to wear even while welding definitely 5 star.

The gloves are excellent, although they are quite thick¡ªthus not suitable for delicate tasks requiring precision. However, they are perfect for electrode welding.

Would I recommend them? Absolutely! They are super soft, heat-resistant, exceptionally well-made, and provide both safety and practicality.

These gloves provide a good balance between flexibility and decent protection against high heat sources. With a cotton liner and leather shell, they offer great value.

These gloves do feel somewhat thin. I would prefer a bit more inner insulation. However, the leather quality is impressive, and they exhibit good craftsmanship.
